COX-2 enzyme inhibition targets anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer-apoptosis of tumor cells and rheumatoid arthritis. They also have the proven ability to inhibit Nitric Oxide Synthase (NOS) which is involved in the manifestation of many of the pathologies associated with the inflammatory response .
